Gunning For Tamar were assembled in the musical hotbed of Oxford in 2009. They attacked the live scene after months in the bunker of musical plotting with their brand of intricate melodic songs and have received praise for the intensity of their shows. You'll find battles with time and song structure at the same time as hearing an emerging band clutching onto melodies with the claws of four young hawks. They'll have you fighting for your life in the jaws of a musical beast that can also smother you in a blanket of sheer warmth and intensity. A Split EP was released on 29th March with Phantom Theory on A Mother Python Records and includes the two Gunning For Tamar tracks 'The Organs.The Senses.The Muscles.The Memories' and 'Norse Blood' with a new record planned for the autumn.
